Sexual Identity and Faith

Sexual Identity and Faith is an amazing book about the struggles that Christians face sexual minorities and it attempts to create congruence between faith identity and sexual identity. It just launched and I am excited to see how it does. It was one of the first projects that I booked and it took me forever to finish because of the detail of the editing. My usual turn around is about three weeks from the start of a project to the final posting. One week to read, one week to edit and one week to fix and master. In this case I definitely bit off more than I could chew and had to learn a ton in order to finish the work! Holy Cow!

My reaction: First, I definitely prefer reading narratives, novels and history! However, I am very proud of the work! To say that I am honored to work with Mark A. Yarhouse is an understatement! He is literally one of the only people who has any actual research in the area of Faith and Sexuality and the information is invaluable. I had to employ two editors and a proofer in order to do this. Not saying I won’t do anything academic again, I just want to make sure that i am ready for that sort of thing! What a meal!
